After working for twenty years in the concrete chemical industry, Dal Hills formed Advanced Concrete Technologies in June 2000. Dal's vision was to create a team to develop and bring to market exciting new technologies originally pioneered by FMC Corporation for sealing, hardening, and protecting concrete, masonry and other building surfaces. These new technologies consisted of sophisticated, high performance lithium formulations designed to enhance concrete performance. Lithium-enhanced Pentra™ products are a big improvement over older sodium and potassium products in the marketplace. They are easier to use and safe for both workers and the environment. Advanced Concrete Technologies acquired sole rights to these technologies in the fall of 2000. In May of 2002, Advanced Concrete Technologies created a subsidiary, Convergent Concrete Technologies, to be the marketing arm of the company. The team which makes up Convergent has been brought together from various industries to provide a progressive, forward-thinking approach to the industry they are ready to assist you in any way possible. During the year 2002, Jean-Claude Biard acquired the right to manufacture and sell those products in Europe, Africa, India and Pakistan. In 2003, JC Biard created the Convergent Group and this new group takes the licensee to manufacture and distribute all those products in East Europe, Gulf and Arabs countries, New Zealand, Australia.
